COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

K-State Research & Extension, Wildcat District is seeking a Communications Manager.  This position, headquartered in the Fredonia office, will develop and produce content to engage and educate audiences across various channels, including newsletters, blogs, graphics, website, and social media.  The Communications Manager will work closely with the director to develop and implement long-term and project based communications strategies.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience with communications and media relations.  Must be a team player with a positive can-do attitude, ability to work  independently to produce high quality work products, and manage multiple clients and projects.  Associates degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or related field required.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree preferred.  Working knowledge of extension programming is highly preferred.
